This role focuses on enhancing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes using AI-assisted development tools. You will accelerate requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and problem resolution. The aim is to streamline procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration by integrating pre-built AI capabilities, without requiring deep involvement in complex AI model development.

Configure and optimize SAP MM processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), purchase requisitions/orders, source lists, vendor management, inventory, material master data, and release strategies. Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration, create test cases, and automate documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, integrating MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems. Apply AI tools to expedite requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations, such as automated classification, predictive signals for low stock or delays, and intelligent summarization of procurement issues. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times. Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit policies, and material master standards. Collaborate with various teams, including procurement, warehouse, finance, and production, to deliver cohesive MM solutions. Contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices for MM configuration and testing.

Possess strong SAP MM expertise with a deep understanding of P2P processes, purchasing flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential. Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows is required. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills within procurement and material management contexts. Clearly translate business requirements into scalable SAP MM configurations. Maintain clear communication and collaboration skills across functional business teams. A continuous learning mindset and comfort adopting AI-enabled productivity tools are crucial.
