This position involves a unique blend of SAP Materials Management expertise and AI-assisted development. You will optimize procurement, inventory, and supplier collaboration processes while utilizing AI tools to accelerate tasks such as requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and documentation. The role encourages leveraging AI capabilities to boost productivity without requiring in-depth involvement in core AI model development.

Configure and refine SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, including Procure-to-Pay, purchase requisitions, vendor management, and inventory control. Utilize AI copilots to generate specifications, validate configurations, and create test cases. Support end-to-end project delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, integrating MM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Apply AI tools to streamline requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations, such as automated material classification or predictive insights for inventory management. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to expedite incident resolution.

Ensure adherence to procurement governance, audit policies, and material master standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions. Contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices for MM configuration and testing, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Demonstrate strong SAP MM expertise, including a deep understanding of P2P processes, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Possess hands-on experience with configuring material and vendor masters, purchase orders, goods movements, and release strategies. Familiarity with integrations across SD, FI, PP, and QM, as well as knowledge of IDocs and common MM troubleshooting patterns is essential.

Showcase AI-ready skills with practical experience using AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is crucial. A solid understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations in procurement is expected.
