Develop comprehensive test plans and specifications for ADAS features, including LDW, LKA, ACC, AEB, FCW, BSD, and RCW, based on system and software requirements. Design and execute validation campaigns for ADAS algorithms and ECU testing, encompassing MIL, SIL, and HIL environments.
Configure and maintain HIL test benches using industry-standard platforms for sensor simulation and actuator emulation. Create MATLAB Simulink-based test harnesses for model-based verification and automated regression testing. Implement and manage automated test frameworks with CI/CD integration.
Validate sensor fusion and perception outputs, analyzing object detection accuracy, tracking performance, and robustness across diverse scenarios. Conduct fault injection and negative testing to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 safety mechanisms. Analyze test results, manage defect reporting, and maintain requirements traceability.
Support ASPICE compliance activities through rigorous verification and validation documentation. Participate in vehicle-level ADAS validation, including drive test data analysis and performance assessment against NCAP requirements.
A minimum of three years of experience in Automotive ECU Software is essential for this role. Candidates should possess strong experience in ADAS Verification and Validation across MIL, SIL, and HIL environments, including test design and execution methodologies.
Hands-on expertise with HIL platforms such as d SPACE SCALEXION, Micro Auto Box II, NI Veri Stand, or Vector Canoe RT is required. Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink for model-based testing and test automation is crucial. A solid understanding of ISO 26262 software and system testing for ASIL B/C safety-critical systems is also necessary.
Experience with ADAS data logging and analysis tools, requirements management, and traceability tools is expected. Familiarity with scenario-based validation approaches and virtual validation environments is beneficial. Working knowledge of Python-based data analysis libraries and CAN/CAN FD network analysis tools is required.
