Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focused on crafting bespoke software solutions. You'll be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing system components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. The goal is to deliver scalable, high-performance applications that precisely meet specific business requirements.

This role emphasizes a strong background in automation testing, particularly for UI and API layers. You will lead the design, development, and upkeep of sophisticated automation frameworks, ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and seamless CI/CD integration.

Design and implement robust automated test scripts and reusable frameworks for both web applications and APIs. Execute comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and technical tests, meticulously identifying, tracking, and resolving defects. Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to foster continuous testing and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. Generate and maintain essential test documentation, including test strategies and execution reports. Provide mentorship to junior team members, sharing expertise on automation best practices.

A minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in Automation Testing, with a proven track record in web and API automation. Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, Rest Assured, Postman, and Core Java is essential. Solid understanding of automation framework design, test design patterns, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. Familiarity with source control, build, and deployment tools within Agile development settings. Demonstrated ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot complex issues, and effectively debug applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to work autonomously as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively and proactively solving issues with cross-functional teams. Must be based in Pune or willing to commute to the Hinjewadi client location three days per week, with shift timings from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
