Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing sophisticated software solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing system components, employing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable and high-performance applications tailored to specific business requirements. This role emphasizes creating efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions within SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), augmented by AI-powered tools and copilots to streamline various project phases.

Our focus is on enhancing productivity through AI assistance rather than deep AI model development. You will integrate pre-built AI services where beneficial, supporting requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. This position offers a dynamic environment for contributing to innovative SAP SD processes and driving efficiency in O2C workflows.

Configure and optimize key SAP SD components, including Order Management, Pricing, Conditions & Discounts, Delivery & Shipment Processing, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, and Returns & Refunds. Leverage AI copilots to expedite the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and accelerate documentation. Provide end-to-end support for implementation cycles, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-go-live assistance. Facilitate seamless integration of SD modules with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems utilizing standard APIs and middleware. Employ AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing diagnostics, impact analysis for change requests, test planning, and documentation automation. Integrate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for enhanced capabilities like automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of issues. Utilize LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times. Ensure solutions comply with organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance requirements. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs, incorporating AI-supported insights for optimization discussions. Collaborate effectively with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end O2C alignment. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, test packs, and best practices enhanced by AI-assisted accelerators.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP SD processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Possess experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, understanding cross-module dependencies. Exhibit knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps. Show hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing and analysis tools. Be capable of integrating pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows, with an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations in commercial workflows. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to O2C scenarios. Effectively translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations. Communicate and collaborate proficiently with cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and a comfort level with using AI-augmented productivity tools. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
