We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, build, and configure applications that meet specific business process and application requirements. This role involves a deep understanding of unique project needs and translating them into robust software solutions.

The Custom Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure developed applications align with organizational objectives, providing seamless functionality. Continuous adaptation and refinement of applications to address evolving business demands are key to fostering innovation and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include conducting customer interviews to gather IT landscape requirements. You will work closely with Project Managers and Solution Architects to recommend and implement infrastructural best practices. Assessing existing customer infrastructure to suggest improvements and designing/documenting the integration of 3DEXPERIENCE components are also crucial.

Further duties involve deploying, operating, and maintaining the DS 3DEXPERIENCE platform within customer IT environments. Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform installation and configuration (2019x or later) is essential, alongside the ability to write scripts for installation and build purposes using various languages.

A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, with a strong preference for 4+ years in 3DExperience Installation, administration, and deployment. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, SQL, MQL, TCL, ANT, Ansible, and YAML is necessary. Candidates should be skilled in configuring SAML/LDAP with 3DEXPERIENCE, networking, load balancing, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Apache and TomEE app server configuration, along with operating system installation and administration (Windows, Linux), is beneficial. Knowledge of DevOps tools like Ansible, source code management, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus. The role demands outstanding communication and collaboration skills, along with good team management abilities. A 15-year full-time education is mandatory for this position.
