Seeking a skilled Android Application Development Lead to architect and build infotainment applications on Android Automotive OS (AAOS). This role focuses on high-performance, automotive-grade user experiences through full-stack architecture and system-level collaboration.

Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in AAOS, embedded systems, and infotainment platforms, ensuring robust and seamless integration across automotive environments.

Lead the design and development of scalable infotainment applications using AAOS, focusing on modularity and performance.

Architect full-stack solutions for media, navigation, and user profiles, ensuring efficient distributed playback.

Develop modules for VHAL and other HALs using AIDL/HIDL, and integrate applications with system services.

Debug and optimize across application, framework, and HAL layers for optimal stability.

Collaborate with platform, hardware, and QA teams, and mentor junior developers on best practices.

Requires 4 years of experience in Android development, with a preference for automotive or embedded domains.

Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++ (14/17) is essential.

Deep understanding of Android SDK, NDK, Jetpack libraries, MVVM architecture, and core Android components.

Hands-on experience with AIDL/HIDL, VHAL, and HAL-to-app communication is critical.

Familiarity with AAOS car services, infotainment integration, and essential communication protocols like BT, Wi-Fi, and GPS at the application level.
