We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components, delivering scalable and high-performing solutions. This role emphasizes modern frameworks and agile practices to meet specific business needs, requiring collaboration and innovation.

The Custom Software Engineer will develop tailored software solutions, meticulously designing, coding, and refining various components within complex systems or applications. This position involves close teamwork and the application of contemporary development frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure that all delivered solutions are not only scalable and efficient but also precisely aligned with the unique requirements of the business. Continuous collaboration and a spirit of innovation are essential to meet evolving project objectives and elevate overall system performance.

Engage with project teams and client stakeholders to facilitate project delivery. Perform maintenance and configuration for Kronos modules, focusing on accruals and timekeeper functions. Contribute to functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Assist clients with testing, ensuring comprehension of the solution and providing support during system handover. Leverage experience in test automation and/or manual testing specifically for the UKG platform. Provide mentorship to junior team members. Excel in a team-oriented setting while maintaining the ability to work independently. Demonstrate creativity and analytical skills in problem-solving scenarios. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers, managing tasks to completion with minimal oversight. Build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment. Show enthusiasm for working within an information systems context.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience is required. Proficiency in UKG Pro is essential. Consideration will be given to candidates with Boomi experience; WIM experience alone is insufficient. At least 4-5 years of experience in the Pro WFM domain is mandatory. A minimum of 2+ years of experience specifically within Pro WFM is necessary. Extensive experience with Kronos, including functional expertise in Timekeeping, Accruals, and Basic Scheduler, is crucial. Solid understanding of Business Structure Setup and Labor Category Setup in Pro WFM is required. Knowledge of Tiles Setup and Display Profiles Setup within Pro WFM is essential. Practical experience and exposure to Dell Boomi are necessary. SQL Reporting and Boomi certification are considered advantageous. Familiarity with Data Views Setup is beneficial. Experience in building custom reports using the BIRT tool is an added advantage. Knowledge of managing CRT tables and integrations within Pro WFM is desirable. Candidates must be prepared to work in shifts.
