We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to develop and enhance custom software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and improving components across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that precisely meet specific business needs.

This position requires a strong background in Embedded Product Verification & Validation. While not mandatory, experience with infotainment systems like Media, BT, Wi-Fi, and Navigation is a plus.

Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive test strategies, defining new test cases, and implementing automated test suites. You will analyze test results, collaborate with technical experts to interpret findings, and contribute to the optimization of testing processes. A significant part of this role involves testing infotainment system features in close collaboration with customers and process partners.

You will also be involved in guiding and mentoring teams on technology usage, demonstrating excellent teamwork, and communicating effectively. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are crucial for this position.

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience is required for this role. Candidates should possess at least 7 years of experience in testing and validation within the automotive domain, with a focus on Embedded Product Verification & Validation. Practical experience with test automation using languages like Python or C# is essential.

Hands-on experience assembling test benches (HIL) and working with hardware/electrical components is expected. Proficiency with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANape, along with experience in Confluence, Jira, and DOORs, is highly valued. A solid understanding of Ethernet, CAN, and LIN protocols, as well as automotive ECU system and subsystem knowledge, is necessary.

Familiarity with requirement understanding, configuration management, bug tracking, and change management tools is required. Experience in test strategy creation, test planning, and tooling enablement is also a key requirement. A Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation is mandatory. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Bengaluru.
