Seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components using modern frameworks and agile practices. This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will leverage AI assisted development tools and copilots to streamline processes within SAP Materials Management (MM), ensuring efficient procurement, inventory, and supplier collaboration.

This position involves integrating pre-built AI capabilities to enhance productivity without requiring deep involvement in AI model development. The goal is to accelerate requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and problem resolution, optimizing MM operations and enhancing procurement transparency.

Configure and optimize SAP MM processes, including Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Source Lists, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, and Material Master Data. Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create test cases, and automate documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, integrating MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for automated material classification, predictive signals, and intelligent summarization of exceptions. Ensure compliance with procurement governance and audit policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing reusable best practices.

Requires a strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential. Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI copilots, LLM powered documentation tools, and AI assisted testing accelerators is crucial. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is key. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement and material management, with the ability to translate business requirements into logical SAP MM configurations. Clear communication and collaboration skills, along with a continuous learning mindset for adopting AI-enabled tools, are expected. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and 15 years of full-time education are required.
