As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing software components across various systems. Utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies, you'll deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that precisely meet business requirements.

This role emphasizes the development of custom software solutions with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors Compensation. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and issue resolution. The goal is to ensure efficient and compliant compensation planning cycles, including merit, bonus, and salary adjustments, while integrating pre-built AI services to enhance accuracy and productivity. Deep AI model development or agentic AI capabilities are not part of this role's scope.

Configure and provide functional and technical support for SAP SuccessFactors Compensation modules, including salary planning, merit cycles, bonus and variable pay programs, guidelines, budgets, eligibility rules, worksheets, templates, and statement generation.

Employ AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validation of rules and guidelines, generation of test cases, and drafting of documentation (FS/TS/SOPs).

Deliver full lifecycle support, encompassing requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live, and hypercare. Integrate Compensation with Employee Central, Performance & Goals, and Payroll systems.

Apply AI copilots to expedite requirement summarization, budget/spend analysis, rule analysis, and compensation cycle data validation. Utilize pre-built AI services for intelligent employee grouping and anomaly detection. Leverage LLM assisted troubleshooting to reduce resolution times for configuration or cycle issues.

Ensure compensation processes align with global policies, pay equity standards, and compliance requirements. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs, supported by AI-generated insights. Collaborate with various HR and technical teams, and contribute reusable templates and best practices.

Possess hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and variable pay. A solid understanding of guidelines, eligibility, budgets, templates, and statement generation is essential.

Familiarity with integration points with Employee Central (EC), Performance Management (PMGM), and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is required.

Demonstrate experience using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted test accelerators. Experience integrating pre-built AI capabilities into compensation planning processes is crucial, though custom AI model creation is not expected.

Possess strong analytical skills, particularly in pay structures, budgets, and compensation compliance. The ability to translate compensation strategies into scalable SuccessFactors configurations is key.

Effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are vital. A continuous learning mindset with an openness to AI-enabled workflows is also important. A 15-year full-time education is a mandatory requirement.
