Develop and maintain applications on IBM iSeries (AS400) using RPG, CL, and COBOL. Manage DB2/400 databases, including data modeling and SQL optimization. Analyze and resolve production issues promptly. Collaborate effectively with architects, business analysts, QA, and project managers. Support code reviews, testing, documentation, and release processes. Ensure adherence to client standards and security policies.

Key duties involve troubleshooting complex problems, enhancing existing functionalities, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle. You will also ensure that all developed solutions comply with industry regulations and best practices.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required for this role. You should possess strong expertise in IBM AS400 development, with a focus on RPG (RPG III/IV/ILE, RPG Free), CL, and COBOL. Proficiency in DB2/400 database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures is essential.

Familiarity with integration techniques like APIs and web services is a plus. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills are expected. Experience with SDLC processes, including requirement gathering and deployment, is necessary. Strong communication and collaboration skills are vital for working with both onsite and offshore teams.
