This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing system components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance software tailored to specific business needs.

We are seeking a technically proficient and delivery-focused individual to drive the development of infotainment applications within the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) environment. You will be involved in full-stack architecture, HAL integration, and system-level collaboration to create exceptional, automotive-grade user experiences. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in Android development, with a deep specialization in AAOS, embedded systems, and infotainment platforms.

Develop cutting-edge infotainment applications leveraging AAOS, emphasizing modularity, performance, and maintainability.

Build modules for seamless interaction with VHAL and other HALs via AIDL/HIDL.

Integrate applications with core system services and vendor-specific frameworks.

Effectively debug and optimize across application, framework, and HAL layers to ensure robust stability and performance.

Collaborate closely with platform, hardware, and QA teams for integrated and validated solutions.

Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in architecture, code quality, and testing.

Produce comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications for stakeholder presentations.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in software engineering is required, with a focus on Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.

Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++ (14/17) is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in Android SDK, NDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.

Hands-on experience with Android components (Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers) and HAL communication (AIDL/HIDL, VHAL).

Familiarity with AAOS car services, infotainment integration, and essential automotive technologies like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and CAN at the application level.

Experience with partitioning concepts, cross-partition communication, and various testing methodologies (unit, instrumentation, mocking) is highly valued.

A Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical) is a prerequisite for this role.
