We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

The role focuses on building AI-native, cloud-ready SAP solutions using ABAP Cloud, combining deep ABAP and SAP platform expertise with agentic AI architectures and LLM tooling. You will design, implement, and scale intelligent SAP applications that integrate ABAP Cloud with LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise systems, moving beyond automation towards autonomy.

Design and build ABAP Cloud applications that embed LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures. Develop clean, testable ABAP code integrating seamlessly with AI services and enterprise APIs. Implement agentic workflows with tools, planners, memory, and orchestration loops. Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines (RAG) with ABAP Cloud services for contextual, grounded responses. Build and integrate retrieval pipelines using SAP and non-SAP data sources. Ensure factuality, traceability, and explainability in AI-driven SAP workflows. Implement evaluation frameworks for AI behaviors and design guardrails for authorization, data privacy, and error handling. Build observability into AI-enabled SAP applications. Prototype quickly, demo frequently, and iterate based on business feedback. Move AI prototypes into enterprise-grade SAP production systems with performance, security, and compliance in mind.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in custom software engineering. Must have expertise in SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles. Demonstrate hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications. Possess experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval. Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD, are essential. Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions is crucial. A full-time education spanning 15 years is required.
