As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting bespoke software solutions designed to address specific business challenges. Your role will involve a dynamic blend of designing, coding, and enhancing system and application components. Employing modern frameworks and agile methodologies, you will deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions that are precisely tailored to meet unique organizational needs and drive project success.

Expected to excel as a Subject Matter Expert in SharePoint and the Power Platform. You will collaborate with and guide your team, taking responsibility for key decisions and ensuring team performance. This role involves providing effective solutions to complex problems, both within your immediate team and across broader organizational structures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications is a core aspect of this position. Ensuring high-quality deliverables through diligent unit testing and performance tuning is paramount.

A strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online development, with comprehensive knowledge of both online and on-premises environments, is essential. You should be experienced in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint solutions. Familiarity with out-of-the-box SharePoint functionalities, including basic site settings, navigation, and web part configuration, is required. Understanding of permissions, sharing settings, and version history within SharePoint is crucial for troubleshooting access and sync issues. Experience with the Power Platform, including app development in Power Apps and creating flows in Power Automate, is necessary. The ability to migrate legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online, potentially using third-party tools like Sharegate, is a key requirement. Hands-on experience developing web parts and extensions using the SharePoint Framework is also essential. Familiarity with integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 or third-party tools is beneficial. Experience with PowerShell or PnP PowerShell for CRUD operations, permission management, and task automation is desirable. A 15-year full-time education is required, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Development is mandatory.
