Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system and application components. You'll leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. This role focuses on developing tailored software to meet specific business needs, requiring expertise in Automotive ECU Software.
Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features. Implement control logic, state machines, and reusable subsystems based on system requirements. Support the implementation of various BCM functions, including lighting, wipers, and power windows.
Conduct model simulations, basic debugging, and unit checks. Utilize Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop environments for verification. Assist with auto-code generation and coordinate with senior engineers for integration and issue resolution.
Prepare and update comprehensive model documentation, design notes, and interface details. Adhere to modeling guidelines, naming conventions, and configuration management practices, ensuring compliance with customer expectations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, with overall experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in automotive embedded software development, MATLAB/Simulink model-based development, or control software development. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, model development, simulation, and debugging is essential.
Demonstrated experience in implementing control logic, state machines, and reusable subsystems. A foundational understanding of the automotive ECU software development lifecycle, particularly for domains like BCM or body electronics, is beneficial. Experience with Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, and simulation-based verification methods is expected.
Familiarity with automatic code generation tools and concepts is desirable. Basic knowledge of vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and diagnostic standards like UDS is helpful. Exposure to requirements management and configuration management tools like JIRA, Git, or SVN is a plus. A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering is required.
