As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet evolving business process and application requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of application development lifecycles and the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

You will play a key role in ensuring applications are efficient, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of project delivery and client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and configuring applications to precisely match business process and application requirements. You are expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding the team in performing tasks effectively and taking ownership of team decisions.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, contributing to critical decision-making processes and providing comprehensive solutions to complex problems. Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge will also be a key aspect of this role, alongside continuously assessing and improving application development processes for greater efficiency.

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience, with a strong proficiency in ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and ServiceNow App Engine. A solid grasp of application design principles and best practices is essential, alongside proven experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms and tools.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is also highly desirable. A mandatory requirement is 15 years of full-time education. The role is based in our Bengaluru office.
