This role focuses on developing and configuring sophisticated software systems for automotive platforms. You will apply your expertise in technologies, applications, and methodologies to support a client's product lifecycle. The position demands a strong understanding of Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.

Key responsibilities include defining system architecture and design for Android-based infotainment applications. You will lead hands-on development of infotainment features using Android Automotive OS, AOSP, and HAL layers. This involves implementing and enhancing Vehicle HAL functionalities, customizing Android framework components for OEM requirements, and conducting rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration with UX/UI teams, embedded engineers, and global stakeholders is crucial. You will also be involved in diagnosing and resolving system-level issues and contributing to the development of AI-enabled infotainment applications.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with at least 3 years in the automotive infotainment domain. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, or a related field is essential. Strong expertise in Android Automotive OS, AOSP, and HAL integration is mandatory, along with proficiency in Java and Kotlin, and familiarity with C++ for native components. Experience with Android 14, VHAL functionalities, and areas like audio/video frameworks, in-cabin controls, navigation, voice, or vehicle data monitoring is expected. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are vital. Experience with infotainment hardware setups, cloud platforms, and developing Android applications with AI/ML capabilities is beneficial. Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps pipelines is also a plus.
