Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and play a key role in developing innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs, fostering continuous collaboration and innovation.
This dynamic position requires a commitment to meeting evolving project goals and client expectations in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to cutting-edge automotive software development, working on cross-domain applications and ensuring the delivery of robust, efficient, and future-ready solutions.
Design and implement cross-domain SDV application software in C++ and Python for AUTOSAR Adaptive, Linux, or QNX vehicle compute environments. Develop service-oriented vehicle application features using SOME/IP, AUTOSAR Aracoma, and DDS publish-subscribe patterns for in-vehicle data distribution. Implement vehicle signal service adapters compliant with COVESA VSS data models, handling signal routing and vehicle API abstraction. Develop OTA-aware application feature modules, including feature flag management, AB feature activation, runtime configuration updates, and rollback safety. Integrate AUTOSAR Adaptive application services such as service discovery, lifecycle management, and structured logging. Implement vehicle application features that consume vehicle data for areas like driver monitoring, cabin environment, predictive maintenance, and remote diagnostics. Develop cloud-connected application services, including vehicle-to-cloud data pipelines, event-driven cloud triggers, and bidirectional remote service invocation. Write comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and component tests with mocking for SDV application modules. Ensure code quality and compliance with MISRA C/C++ Coding Guidelines and static analysis tools. Contribute to ASPICE SWE1-SWE3 documentation, including software requirements, architecture, and detailed design specifications.
Must possess proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded application software development in Linux or RTOS environments. Solid understanding of the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform application layer, including SOME/IP, DDS, Ara Exec, Ara Log, and manifest configuration. Familiarity with service-oriented vehicle architectures, including SOME/IP service discovery, publish-subscribe patterns, and API contract design. Experience with COVESA VSS or similar vehicle data model standards for signal abstraction and normalization. Proven experience with OTA-aware software design, encompassing feature toggles, AB activation, configuration management, and graceful degradation. Knowledge of software build systems like CMake, Bazel, Yocto, and Open Embedded recipe authoring for SDV applications. Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), code review (Gerrit), and automated test frameworks. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software or SDV Platform Development (cross-domain). Educational qualification requires a BE, B.Tech, ME, or M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering with 15 years of full-time education.
