This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME). Active participation and contribution in team discussions are essential. You will be involved in providing effective solutions to work-related challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions, and maintaining/improving existing software components to boost system reliability and efficiency. Additionally, you'll document development processes and solutions, and assist junior team members by offering guidance and support.

This role requires a strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks. Experience with cloud-based data engineering platforms and distributed computing environments is highly beneficial. A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies is expected. The ability to optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability, along with familiarity with scripting and automation for development and deployment tasks, are key requirements. A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks is mandatory. A 15-year full-time education is also a prerequisite for this position.
