This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions within SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs, with a strong emphasis on utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

The position involves designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP SD processes. You will work with AI copilots to accelerate tasks like requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. The goal is to deliver efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions and improve productivity through AI enablement.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, and Credit Management. You will utilize AI copilots to assist with functional specifications, pricing logic validation, test case automation, and documentation creation. The role also entails supporting end-to-end implementation cycles, integrating SD with other SAP modules and external systems, and applying AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, diagnostics, impact analysis, and test planning.

Furthermore, you will incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows, like automated exception detection and intelligent order classification. You will also use LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times. Ensuring solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, and compliance requirements is crucial. Collaboration with various teams and contribution of reusable templates and best practices, enhanced by AI, are expected.

A strong foundation in SAP SD is required, with a deep understanding of O2C processes including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, cross-module dependencies, and master data is essential. Familiarity with IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is also necessary.

This role demands AI-ready skills, including hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis. You should be capable of integrating pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows. A strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude in O2C scenarios, the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations, and effective communication and collaboration skills are vital. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with AI-augmented productivity tools are also key.
