As a Custom Software Engineer, your daily activities will revolve around creating tailored software. This includes designing, coding, and refining various parts of systems or applications. The position emphasizes collaborative work with team members, utilizing contemporary development frameworks and agile principles to ensure solutions are both scalable and efficient. A key aspect of the role is translating specific business needs into effective software products and continuously improving software components throughout the development cycle.

Independently drive projects and become a subject matter expert. Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving sessions. Provide solutions for technical challenges encountered during work. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and analyze requirements for custom software development projects. Maintain and improve existing software components to boost performance and reliability. Create comprehensive documentation for technical specifications and development procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing. Support and guide junior team members in their development tasks.

A strong command of SAP CPI for Data Services is essential for this position. Experience in integrating cloud-based applications and data services via SAP Cloud Platform Integration is required. A solid understanding of middleware concepts and data transformation techniques is also necessary. The ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues is crucial. Familiarity with agile software development practices and CI/CD pipelines is expected.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in SAP CPI for Data Services. This role is situated at our CDC2E - SEZ location and requires a foundational education of 15 years of full-time study.
