Seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance software components across various systems. This role emphasizes developing scalable, high-performance solutions using modern frameworks and agile methodologies to meet specific business needs.

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and executing automated test solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. A key focus is building robust test automation frameworks with Selenium and Java, validating application functionality thoroughly. Independent contribution to automation strategy and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential, leveraging Agile practices and cutting-edge tools for reliable, scalable outcomes.

Key responsibilities include becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and performing tasks independently, while actively contributing to team discussions and problem-solving. You will design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Java, and enhance automation frameworks for improved reusability and scalability. This role involves performing functional, regression, and end-to-end testing, analyzing requirements for automation feasibility, and adhering to SDLC and STLC processes. Further duties include creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and scripts, managing defects using tracking tools, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues. Participation in Agile ceremonies and the utilization of AI tools like Copilot to boost testing productivity are also expected.

Essential skills include strong automation expertise in Selenium with Java, alongside a solid understanding of software testing concepts such as functional, regression, and integration testing. Proficiency in SDLC and STLC processes, and experience designing and developing automation frameworks (e.g., POM, Hybrid frameworks) are required. Knowledge of defect lifecycle management tools like JIRA is necessary. Basic knowledge of Playwright is advantageous, and familiarity with test management tools such as ALM Octane is a plus. Experience working within Agile methodologies, the ability to work independently, and strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills are critical.

A full-time education spanning 15 years is a prerequisite for this role.
