The position involves constructing, deploying, and maintaining cloud applications on SAP BTP, evolving them into intelligent systems through rapid prototyping and production-ready hardening.

Develop and enhance custom software components across various systems and applications, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies for scalable, high-performance solutions.

Engineer cloud applications on SAP BTP, managing platform fundamentals, administration, solution design, and full-stack development. Deliver complete solutions from frontend UI components using SAPUI5 to robust backend services and APIs with Node.js.

Design and implement data models and database artifacts for SAP HANA persistence patterns. Configure platform elements, including subaccounts and service instances, and establish connectivity for external integrations. Deploy applications using multi-target application (MTA) artifacts.

Integrate LLM-powered features into BTP applications, focusing on tool calling, orchestration, memory management, and safety boundaries. Build retrieval-grounded experiences (RAG) over enterprise content and APIs, incorporating clear fallback behaviors and implementing evaluation loops for AI behavior monitoring and regression detection.

Uphold engineering excellence through Git-based workflows, Agile/Scrum practices, and thorough debugging of backend, database, and service exposure issues.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with a strong foundation in SAP BTP application development. This includes expertise in platform architecture, basic administration, solution design, and full-stack development.

Demonstrated hands-on experience in full-stack implementation patterns is crucial, encompassing backend services, APIs, data models, and UI integration. A solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including clean code principles, a testing mindset, and CI/CD orientation, is expected.
