We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to contribute to the design, coding, and enhancement of software components. This role emphasizes the use of modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

-Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models for BCM application software and automotive body electronics. -Translate system requirements into model-based design components and control logic. -Implement BCM functions such as lighting, wipers, and power windows. -Conduct model simulation, debugging, and verification in MIL/SIL environments. -Support automatic code generation and coordinate integration with embedded software teams. -Create and maintain comprehensive model documentation and design notes. -Review model quality against established guidelines and standards. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify functionality and resolve technical issues. -Support defect analysis and model updates throughout the development lifecycle. -Ensure adherence to automotive engineering processes and customer delivery expectations.

-Possess 4-6 years of experience in automotive embedded software development, MATLAB/Simulink model-based development, or control software development. -Demonstrate hands-on expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, model debugging, simulation, and model-based design. -Experience in developing control logic, state machines, reusable subsystems, and managing data dictionaries. -Solid understanding of the automotive ECU software development lifecycle, particularly for BCM or body electronics domains. -Working knowledge of Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, unit testing, and simulation-based verification. -Familiarity with automatic code generation tools and generated code integration is beneficial. -Working knowledge of CAN, LIN, UDS diagnostics, and ECU communication concepts. -Exposure to requirements management, configuration management, and defect tracking tools is advantageous. -Ability to work effectively in Agile or V-model delivery environments and collaborate with diverse teams.
