We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer with expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) to design, code, and enhance system components. This role involves leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will focus on developing efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre-built AI services, and enhancing productivity through AI-enabled assistance.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, Credit Management, and Returns. You will utilize AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and expedite documentation. The role also involves supporting end-to-end implementation cycles, integrating SD with other modules (MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM) and external systems, and applying AI-enabled tools for process analysis, pricing diagnostics, impact analysis, and test planning. Additionally, you will incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for tasks like exception detection and intelligent order classification, and use LLM assistance for troubleshooting incidents.

Ideal candidates possess a strong understanding of O2C processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures, along with experience in SD/FI and SD/MM integrations. Essential knowledge includes master data, IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis is crucial. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows and an understanding of responsible AI usage are required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is a continuous learning mindset and comfort with AI augmented productivity tools. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is expected, with a requirement for 15 years of full-time education.
