This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions. You will be involved in the design, coding, and improvement of system components, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable and high-performing applications tailored to specific business needs.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering. A foundational understanding of Manufacturing Engineering and L2 Automation is essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial control systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI for manufacturing plants.

You will develop and maintain software for PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and historian systems, performing code reviews and managing versions. Commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing on-call support for control system issues are also critical.

Implementing industrial communication networks and securing OT networks, along with applying relevant ISA/IEC standards and ensuring functional safety, are key aspects of this role. Developing comprehensive automation project documentation and participating in root cause analysis for downtime events are also expected.

This role necessitates a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and OT/Control systems. Proficiency in PLC programming languages (IEC 61131-3) and demonstrated experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Siemens WinCC, Ignition) are required.

Knowledge of industrial protocols and networks (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA) is essential, alongside strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills. The ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams is also necessary.

Ideal candidates will have experience with version control (Git), CI/CD for automation software, and change management processes.
