This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions within SAP Sales & Distribution (SD). You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to streamline requirement analysis, coding, configuration, testing, and documentation. The primary goal is to deliver efficient Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre-built AI services to improve productivity and enhance O2C processes.

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer with expertise in SAP SD, aiming to deliver faster, more accurate, and transparent solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of O2C processes and the ability to integrate AI capabilities to optimize workflows and reduce resolution times.

Configure and optimize SAP SD components, including order management, pricing, delivery, billing, credit management, and returns. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating pricing logic, automating test case generation, and accelerating documentation. Support end-to-end implementation cycles from requirements gathering to post-go-live support. Integrate SAP SD with other modules like MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems. Apply AI-enabled tools for process analysis, pricing diagnostics, impact analysis, test planning, and documentation automation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows, such as automated exception detection and intelligent order classification. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting during incidents to reduce resolution times. Ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and supply chain, to ensure O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates and best practices enhanced by AI-assisted accelerators.

Possess a strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Demonstrate experience with SAP SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, including cross-module dependencies. Have knowledge of master data, IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps. Show hands-on experience using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools. Be capable of integrating pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows. Understand responsible AI usage and its limitations within commercial workflows. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in O2C scenarios. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations effectively. Possess effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and comfort using AI-augmented productivity tools.
