This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting solutions. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting. The position emphasizes integration, quality delivery, and boosted productivity through AI, without requiring deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Key responsibilities include configuring and enhancing core SAP FI components like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots to accelerate analysis and documentation. The role also involves supporting end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integrating SAP FI with other SAP modules and external systems.

You will also use AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, and for impact analysis and documentation. The position encourages applying pre-built AI services for financial process enhancement, data interpretation, error diagnosis, and faster issue resolution. Ensuring compliance with SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards is crucial. Collaboration with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and stakeholders is key to delivering high-quality solutions. Contributing to reusable templates and best practices for AI-assisted development is also expected.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations using AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. Support end-to-end delivery across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems via standard integration patterns/APIs. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configuration, generating test scripts, and performing impact analysis and documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and forecasting, to enhance finance processes. Employ AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and faster issue resolution. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions, leveraging AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders for aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and AI-assisted development best practices.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required. Hands-on experience utilizing AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing tools is necessary. Possess an understanding of AI concepts, their limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services (model training, RAG, or agentic development are not the focus). Demonstrate the ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to finance processes and data. Possess clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams. Be capable of translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled workflows are expected.
