This position emphasizes the development, deployment, and ongoing support of the AVEVA PI System (formerly OSIsoft PI). The core of your work will involve supporting and enhancing the PI System according to specific client requirements. You will collaborate with colleagues to resolve software challenges, optimize system performance, and ensure smooth application operations that effectively support business objectives.

Ensure the consistent availability and performance of the PI System. Engage effectively with diverse teams and clients, contributing significantly to critical decision-making processes. Provide expert solutions to challenges faced by the PI team. Undertake intricate coding and development tasks with precision. Continuously stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into our architecture.

A minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience with AVEVA OSIsoft PI is mandatory. You should possess a strong command of PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, Analysis, and Notifications. Experience in developing PI Vision dashboards to meet user specifications is essential. Proficiency in Interface installation and configuration, including PI RDBMS, PI UFL, PI to PI, and PI webAPI, is required.

Key responsibilities include monitoring PI System health to guarantee availability, thorough troubleshooting of infrastructure issues, and coordinating maintenance windows. You will also be responsible for patching servers with PI components, executing controlled system starts, and conducting functional tests. The implementation of coordinated solutions within the PI Asset Framework, covering analyses, structures, and authorizations, is a significant part of this role. Effective coordination with multiple application teams for seamless PI System integration is also expected. Strong communication skills are vital for understanding and delivering client requirements.
