This position emphasizes the application of AI tools to accelerate various aspects of the SAP MM lifecycle. Responsibilities include requirement interpretation, process design, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. You will also integrate pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations, such as automated material classification and predictive signaling for inventory and procurement issues.

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will configure and optimize SAP MM processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management. You will utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configurations, create test cases, and automate documentation.

Your role involves supporting end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integrating MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems. You'll apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, material data validation, error diagnostics, and test creation. Additionally, you'll integrate pre-built AI services to enhance MM operations and use LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer with a strong understanding of SAP MM, particularly P2P processes, purchasing documents, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential.

Familiarity with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators is required. You should be able to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation, understanding responsible AI usage and its limitations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business requirements into SAP MM configurations, clear communication, and a continuous learning mindset are crucial for success in this role.
