Develop cutting-edge AI-native, cloud-ready SAP solutions by integrating deep ABAP and SAP platform expertise with advanced AI architectures, Large Language Model (LLM) tools, and rapid experimentation.

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and scaling intelligent SAP applications. You will connect ABAP Cloud with LLMs, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, APIs, and enterprise systems, driving evolution from automation to true autonomy. This position actively builds AI systems, not just uses AI tools.

Deliver intelligent SAP applications that possess reasoning, retrieval, and action capabilities beyond simple automation. Achieve faster innovation by embedding AI directly into SAP business logic, creating scalable, secure, and clean core-aligned AI-powered SAP extensions that form the foundation for autonomous, AI-driven enterprise workflows.

Design and construct ABAP Cloud applications, embedding LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.

Develop clean, testable ABAP code that seamlessly integrates with AI services and enterprise APIs. Implement agentic workflows, including tools, planners, memory, orchestration, and evaluation loops, integrated within SAP processes.

Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and RAG pipelines with ABAP Cloud services for contextual, grounded responses. Design prompt templates, grounding strategies, fallback logic, and safety boundaries for enterprise SAP use cases.

Build and integrate retrieval pipelines using both SAP and non-SAP data sources. Implement chunking, indexing, embeddings, and context assembly to support production-ready RAG scenarios. Ensure factuality, traceability, and explainability in AI-driven SAP workflows.

Implement evaluation frameworks for AI behaviors within SAP processes. Design guardrails for authorization, data privacy, action boundaries, and error handling. Build observability into AI-enabled SAP applications, including telemetry, logging, and failure analysis.

Prototype rapidly, demo frequently, and iterate based on business feedback. Transition AI prototypes into enterprise-grade SAP production systems with a focus on performance, security, and compliance. Continuously refine AI behavior, prompts, and orchestration strategies.

A strong foundation in SAP ABAP Cloud, including proficiency in RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles, is essential. You should have hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications, along with experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval systems.

Solid software engineering fundamentals, encompassing design, testing, and CI/CD practices, are required. The ability to translate complex business problems into effective AI-enabled SAP solutions is crucial. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.

Additional beneficial skills include experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, and cloud services. Familiarity with agent frameworks or custom orchestration logic is advantageous. Exposure to vector databases, search, or semantic indexing, as well as knowledge of enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns, will further strengthen your profile.
