Develop high-performance SAP solutions through HANA-optimized ABAP engineering and disciplined pushdown design. Build intelligent SAP workflows using agentic AI patterns that are grounded, governed, and measurable. Implement robust safety boundaries for AI-enabled actions through automated testing, observability, and reliable infrastructure. Design and develop ABAP solutions optimized for SAP HANA, focusing on minimizing data movement and maximizing in-database processing. Build modular, testable, and maintainable ABAP code following clean architecture practices and enterprise SDLC standards. Integrate ABAP on HANA services with both SAP and non-SAP ecosystems, ensuring end-to-end solution correctness and performance. Establish evaluation harnesses for AI behaviors, including offline datasets, scenario-based tests, and online monitoring. Instrument services and critical logic for effective production support and root-cause analysis, ensuring robust error handling and safe failure modes.

Requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP Development on HANA, including performance tuning, pushdown techniques, and efficient SQL access patterns. Proficiency with CDS views and modern data modeling practices such as associations, annotations, and authorization concepts is essential. Experience with AMDP/SQLScript for performance-critical scenarios and controlled code pushdown is necessary. A solid foundation in software engineering disciplines, including clean design, a testing mindset, CI/CD orientation, and production readiness, is expected. Demonstrated capability in building AI-native applications, including LLM integration, retrieval grounding, tool orchestration, evaluation loops, and implementing safety boundaries is required. Experience with OData/service design patterns, API lifecycle management, and contract-first development is highly beneficial. Familiarity with SAP security/authorizations and compliance requirements for sensitive enterprise data is preferred.
