As a Custom Software Engineer specializing in packaged application development, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to precisely meet business process and application requirements. This role requires a strong focus on Salesforce Data 360, where you will craft and support customer data solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud.

Your contributions will be vital as a senior developer, overseeing data ingestion, data modeling, identity resolution, data transformations, calculated insights, and segmentation. You will collaborate closely with architects and business teams to ensure implementations are seamlessly aligned with strategic business objectives.

Configure and meticulously maintain Data Streams originating from Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and external systems. Develop and uphold Data Model Objects (DMOs), configure robust Identity Resolution rules, and create sophisticated Data Transforms. Write and optimize SQL queries for developing Calculated Insights. Construct and rigorously test segments designed for downstream activation. Effectively debug issues pertaining to missing data, inaccurate unification, or data mismatches. Provide essential support during UAT, deployment phases, and for post-go-live production challenges. Collaborate with architects and analysts to translate technical designs into functional applications. Actively participate in code reviews, comprehensive testing, and release cycles. Support defect resolution and ongoing optimization activities. Document all Data 360 configurations and technical workflows thoroughly.

Possess hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) configuration and development. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Match Rules, Data Transforms, Calculated Insights (SQL), and Segmentation/Activation. Exhibit the ability to develop solutions that are both maintainable and scalable. Showcase strong problem-solving and effective communication skills. Possess robust SQL skills, with a preference for joins, aggregations, and window functions. Experience working with JSON, APIs, and data integration pipelines is essential. Understand event-based data and customer engagement tracking. A basic understanding of Salesforce metadata, objects, and permissions is required. 15 years of full-time education is a mandatory requirement. Mandatory certifications include Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Administrator.
