Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge software solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. By leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices, you will deliver scalable, high-performing solutions meticulously tailored to unique business requirements.
This role focuses on custom software engineering, emphasizing the creation of bespoke solutions rather than standardized packaged applications. You'll contribute to building robust and efficient software that directly addresses specific client needs, driving innovation and technological advancement.
Configure and optimize SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management. Utilize AI copilots to accelerate the generation of functional specifications, validate configuration logic, and create high-quality test cases.
Support end-to-end delivery lifecycles, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems using standard APIs and middleware.
Apply AI tools to enhance productivity by accelerating requirement interpretation, process design, and error diagnostics. Integrate pre-built AI services for automated material classification, predictive insights, and intelligent summarization of procurement exceptions. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to expedite incident resolution.
Ensure adherence to procurement governance, audit policies, and operational controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions and contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices.
A strong foundation in SAP MM is essential, encompassing a deep understanding of P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is required. Familiarity with integrations across SD, FI, PP, and QM, along with knowledge of IDocs, outputs, and common MM troubleshooting patterns, is expected.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is key. An understanding of responsible AI usage, data quality impacts, and AI limitations in procurement contexts is also necessary.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills specifically within procurement and material management scenarios. You should be adept at translating business requirements into logical and scalable SAP MM configurations. Clear communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a continuous learning mindset and comfort adopting AI-enabled productivity tools, are vital for success in this role.
