Develop and implement cross-domain SDV application software in C++ and Python for AUTOSAR Adaptive Linux or QNX environments. Build service-oriented vehicle application features using SOME/IP, AUTOSAR Aracoma, and DDS patterns for in-vehicle data distribution. Create vehicle signal service adapters compliant with COVESA VSS data models, managing signal routing and API abstraction layers. Design OTA-aware application feature modules, including feature flag management, runtime configuration, and safe rollback mechanisms. Integrate AUTOSAR Adaptive application services, focusing on service discovery, lifecycle management, and structured logging. Implement vehicle application features that consume vehicle data for applications like driver monitoring and predictive maintenance. Develop cloud-connected application services, establishing data pipelines and enabling remote service invocation. Write comprehensive unit, integration, and component tests with mocking for SDV application modules. Ensure code quality and compliance with MISRA C/C++ coding guidelines and static analysis tools. Contribute to ASPICE SWE1-SWE3 documentation, including software requirements, architecture, and detailed design.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in custom software engineering is required, with a preference for 4+ years in Automotive Embedded Software or SDV Platform Development. Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded application development within Linux or RTOS environments is essential. Solid understanding of the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform application layer, including aracom, SOME/IP, DDS, araexec, aralog, and manifest configuration, is crucial. Familiarity with service-oriented vehicle architectures, SOME/IP service discovery, publish-subscribe patterns, and API contract design is necessary. Experience with OTA-aware software design, including feature toggles, configuration management, and graceful degradation, is required. Knowledge of software build systems like CMake, Bazel, Yocto, or Open Embedded is important. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), code reviews (Gerrit), and automated test frameworks is expected. A BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education, is mandatory.
