Job description

This role involves developing custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. Utilize modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business requirements.

We are looking for a skilled engineer to support MATLAB/Simulink-based verification for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features. Key activities include test execution, requirement-based test case preparation, simulation result analysis, defect logging, and regression support. Collaboration with model development and validation teams is essential to ensure successful integration and quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute MATLAB/Simulink-based test cases for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features. Analyze software and model requirements to prepare test scenarios, steps, and expected results. Support Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing for Simulink and Stateflow models. Create and update test harnesses, input stimulus data, and simulation setups. Execute test cases, analyze results, log defects, and support retesting after updates. Assist in debugging failed simulations by reviewing signal behavior and model interfaces. Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, results, and defects. Collaborate with development, requirements, integration, validation, and quality teams. Prepare test execution logs, defect notes, and verification evidence for review. Adhere to automotive testing processes, model verification guidelines, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive embedded software testing, MATLAB/Simulink model testing, or model-based verification is required. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink Test, model simulation, test execution, and basic debugging is essential. Experience executing Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop test cases, analyzing simulation outputs, and reporting defects is expected. A basic understanding of automotive ECU software development and testing lifecycle, especially for BCM or body electronics, is beneficial. Working knowledge of test case preparation, execution, result comparison, signal monitoring, and defect documentation is necessary. Familiarity with model and requirement coverage, and verification evidence preparation is desirable. Basic knowledge of CAN, LIN, UDS diagnostics, and ECU communication concepts is advantageous. Exposure to requirements management, traceability, configuration management, defect lifecycle, and related tools like JIRA or Git is a plus. A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related stream is required.
