This position focuses on designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP Production Planning (PP) processes within discrete manufacturing environments. You will employ AI-powered tools to accelerate requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and issue resolution, aiming for efficient production planning, shop floor execution, and material staging. Integration of pre-built AI services is also a key aspect, without requiring deep AI model engineering.

Configure and support critical SAP PP processes including Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Production Orders & Execution, Routings, Work Centers & BOM Management, Capacity Planning & Scheduling, Backflushing & Costing Integration, and Goods Movements & Shop floor Reporting. Utilize AI copilots to significantly accelerate functional specification creation, routing/BOM validation, test case generation for MRP and order creation, and documentation automation. Provide full lifecycle support, from requirements and design to SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.

Integrate SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, and shop floor systems (MES) using standard APIs and middleware. Leverage AI copilots for automated summarization of requirements, analysis of MRP exceptions, validation of order execution, and faster defect isolation. Embed pre-built AI services for predictive insights, intelligent classification of production issues, automated summarization of batch deviations, and smart suggestions based on historical performance. Employ LLM assisted troubleshooting to enhance efficiency.

Ensure adherence to production governance, change controls, data accuracy standards, and audit policies. Participate in workshops and solution reviews. Collaborate effectively with production, quality, warehouse, procurement, cost controlling, and integration teams. Develop reusable templates, checklists, and AI-enabled best practices for SAP PP delivery.

A strong foundation in SAP PP is essential, encompassing discrete manufacturing processes, BOM/routing management, production order cycles, capacity planning, scheduling, and MRP. Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO is crucial, along with familiarity in order confirmations, settlements, and shop floor data capture.

Demonstrate proficiency in using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI assisted test accelerators. Be comfortable embedding pre-built AI capabilities into production planning or execution workflows, with an awareness of responsible AI usage and its limitations. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills pertinent to production variability and MRP outcomes.
