This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, coding, and improving components across various systems and applications, leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business needs. The position requires a strong foundation in downstream manufacturing principles.

Key responsibilities include independent performance and becoming a subject matter expert, active participation in team discussions, and contributing solutions to work-related challenges. You will provide L2 support for communication issues related to Modbus, OPC, Matrikon, and Kepware, troubleshoot connectivity between PLCs, OPC Servers, and SCADA systems, and support the configuration and maintenance of Matrikon OPC Servers and Kepware KEPServerEX. Additional duties involve supporting integration testing, coordinating with plant and engineering teams for issue resolution, and maintaining communication mapping and documentation.

Essential qualifications include proficiency in Modbus (RTU/TCP), OPC DA/UA architecture, Matrikon OPC Server, and Kepware KEPServerEX. A solid understanding of PLC communication troubleshooting, device integration, industrial protocol gateways, and AMS support processes is required. Candidates should possess fundamental knowledge of industrial automation, strong protocol troubleshooting capabilities, and good coordination skills. Experience in downstream manufacturing or OT environments is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience is necessary for this role.
