Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on developing innovative solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio. You will be instrumental in crafting bespoke software that addresses specific business challenges. This role emphasizes modern framework utilization and agile methodologies to deliver robust and scalable applications.

This position involves building, configuring, and deploying Copilot Studio agents from the ground up. You'll define topics, knowledge sources, and generative responses, while enhancing agent capabilities with Power Automate, MCP Server tool connections, and Azure AI Foundry models.

Design and construct sophisticated Copilot Studio agents, encompassing topics, trigger phrases, entities, variables, and conversational flows. Configure generative orchestration and knowledge sources to ensure accurate agent responses. Develop and manage Power Automate flows for extended agent actions and backend system integration. Implement and utilize MCP Server tool/plugin connections to broaden agent functionalities.

Oversee agent publishing across various channels and manage development-to-production environments. Refine agent behavior and prompts, leveraging Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection and custom grounding techniques. Conduct thorough unit testing and troubleshoot conversational and connectivity issues. Apply responsible AI principles throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate on agent design, security, and architectural alignment.

A strong foundation in software development is essential, with proven expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, and application lifecycle management (ALM). Familiarity with Power Automate for automation and integration is required, alongside experience configuring MCP Server/tool connections.

Working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and grounding patterns is a valuable asset. A solid understanding of responsible AI practices, including bias and safety validation, is crucial. Agile delivery experience, coupled with strong debugging and conversational troubleshooting skills, is preferred.
