Opportunity for a Custom Software Engineer to craft bespoke software solutions, focusing on design, coding, and enhancement of system components. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance software tailored to specific business needs.

This position involves developing and implementing software for connected vehicles, ensuring robust communication between vehicles and the cloud. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to create innovative telematics and V2X applications.

Design and implement connected vehicle software for TCU DCM, including OTA client, remote services, V2X applications, and fleet telematics. Develop vehicle-to-cloud communication using MQTT, AMQP, REST, HTTP, gRPC, and WebSocket. Implement V2X application layer software compliant with ETSI, SAE, and IEEE standards. Develop OTA and FOTA update client software with integrity verification and rollback logic. Implement remote vehicle services like start/stop, lock/unlock, and climate control. Develop vehicle data management pipelines for signal aggregation, compression, and cloud uplift. Implement security protocols including TLS/DTLS, mutual authentication, and PKI integration. Execute unit, integration, and protocol conformance testing for connected vehicle modules. Develop and maintain BSP for embedded platforms like NXP and Qualcomm.

Requires proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded connected vehicle and telematics software development. Experience with communication protocols like MQTT, AMQP, REST, HTTP, and Protobuf is essential. Must possess knowledge of V2X communication standards (ETSI, IEEE 802.11p, DSRC, CV2X) and SAE J2945. Familiarity with telematics protocols, OBDII, and vehicle diagnostic data is required. Understanding of cellular network protocols (4G LTE, 5G NR) for automotive IoT is necessary. Must have knowledge of TLS/DTLS security stack, PKI, and X.509 certificate management. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education, is required. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Connected Vehicles, Automotive Telematics, or V2X SDV domains is mandatory.
