As a Custom Software Engineer, you will craft bespoke software solutions, focusing on designing, coding, and enhancing system components. Design and implement ADAS application software in C++ and Python for various features, adhering to OEM functional requirements. Develop and optimize sensor fusion algorithms, integrating data from diverse sensors like cameras, radar, and LiDAR. Integrate ADAS feature software with AUTOSAR middleware layers and vehicle communication stacks (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP). Execute software unit and integration testing, ensuring traceability to system requirements using tools like Vector CAST or Google Test. Conduct code reviews and static analysis, ensuring compliance with automotive coding standards such as MISRA C++. Collaborate with system engineers to define requirements and create detailed software design specifications. Debug and resolve software defects identified through HIL, SIL, and on-vehicle testing. Support the creation of ASPICE-compliant documentation, including SRS, SDD, and test reports. Actively participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Engage with OEM and Tier 1 stakeholders during integration milestones and feature demonstrations.
A strong command of C++ and Python, with proven experience in automotive embedded software development within the ADAS domain. Proficiency in understanding ADAS algorithms, including object detection, multi-sensor tracking, and path prediction. Solid grasp of AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform architecture, software component design, and service interfaces. Experience with camera ISP, CV pipelines, radar, CAN, Ethernet, or LiDAR sensor data processing. Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety principles (ASIL B/C) and SOTIF (ISO 21448) concepts. Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink for model-based algorithm prototyping and verification. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, CMake build systems, and static analysis tools. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering is required, following 15 years of full-time education. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience is necessary for this role.
