Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and drive innovation in automotive software development. This role focuses on creating bespoke solutions that enhance system and application components. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performance software tailored to specific business needs.
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and refining software across various systems. The position offers a dynamic environment where you can apply cutting-edge development methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of software products, ensuring alignment with unique project requirements.
Develop and maintain BSP software for automotive compute platforms, including application-grade SoCs and microcontroller-grade controllers.
Configure AUTOSAR Classic MCAL and BSW for domain and zone controller ECUs, utilizing tools like EB tresos and DaVinci Configurator.
Deploy AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform services and author JSON manifests.
Develop Linux BSP for automotive HPC platforms, including Yocto, device tree, U-Boot, and kernel driver development.
Integrate RTOS configurations for critical ECUs, managing partitioning and scheduling.
Implement inter-domain middleware solutions, such as Ethernet AVB TSN and SOME/IP stacks.
Configure Vehicle OS and SDV platform frameworks, including SOAFEE and Eclipse SDV Leda.
Enable OTA platform functionalities, including partition schemes and update agents.
Integrate automotive cybersecurity platforms, covering secure boot and HSM configurations.
Debug cross-layer platform issues using advanced debugging tools and logging infrastructure.
A strong foundation in embedded C and C++ for both Linux and RTOS environments is essential. Proficiency in AUTOSAR Classic MCAL and BSW configuration, along with knowledge of Linux BSP and Yocto Open Embedded development, is required.
Familiarity with AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform services and automotive middleware concepts like SOME/IP is necessary. Experience with RTOS configurations (QNX, FreeRTOS, INTEGRITY) and hands-on debugging skills with tools like Lauterbach TRACE32 are critical.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software or SDV Platform Development. A BE, B.Tech, ME, or M.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering, completed with 15 years of full-time education, is a prerequisite for this position.
