Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). This role involves developing and enhancing custom software solutions, leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance applications tailored to business needs.

You will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP SD processes. The position emphasizes the use of AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

This position is centered on delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions. It includes integrating pre-built AI services where beneficial and enhancing productivity through AI-enabled assistance, rather than focusing on deep AI model development, RAG, or agentic AI systems.

Configure and optimize critical SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery & Shipment Processing, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, and Returns & Refunds.

Utilize AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and expedite documentation.

Support end-to-end implementation cycles, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Integrate SD with other modules like MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems using standard APIs and middleware.

Apply AI-enabled tools to enhance process analysis, diagnose pricing issues, perform impact analysis for changes, plan and execute tests, and automate documentation.

Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows, such as automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of order/delivery issues.

Leverage LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Ensure solutions align with organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance requirements.

Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs, presenting AI-supported insights to drive optimization discussions.

Collaborate with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams to ensure comprehensive O2C alignment.

Contribute reusable templates, test packs, and best practices enhanced by AI-assisted accelerators.

A strong understanding of SAP SD processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures, is essential.

Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, along with an understanding of cross-module dependencies, is required.

Knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is crucial.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools is necessary.

Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows is expected; this role does not involve developing custom LLMs or agentic systems.

A solid understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations, particularly within commercial workflows, is important.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in O2C scenarios are needed.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations is a key requirement.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders are vital.
