This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions through design and coding. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance applications tailored to specific business needs. The position emphasizes creating robust software components within larger systems or applications.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing MATLAB/Simulink test cases for BCM application software and body electronics. You will analyze requirements, derive test scenarios, and perform MIL/SIL testing for Simulink and Stateflow models. Creating test harnesses, simulation environments, and automated regression suites is also part of the role. Other duties involve model coverage analysis, defect logging, debugging simulations, maintaining traceability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Preparing test reports and ensuring adherence to automotive testing processes are essential.
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with overall experience ranging from 4 to 6 years in automotive embedded software testing or model-based verification. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink Test, and test harness creation is essential. Experience with MIL/SIL testing, requirement-based testing, regression testing, and defect reporting is mandatory. A solid understanding of the automotive ECU software lifecycle and experience with tools like JIRA or DOORS are beneficial. Familiarity with CAN, LIN, UDS diagnostics, and Agile/V-model environments is advantageous.
