This role focuses on developing custom software solutions within SAP Materials Management (MM). You will design, code, and enhance system components, leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions. The position emphasizes using AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline processes, accelerate analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and problem resolution.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing MM processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, and Material Master Data. You'll also integrate MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems.

This role offers the opportunity to enhance MM operations through pre-built AI services for tasks like material classification, predictive signals for inventory, and intelligent summarization of exceptions. You will also contribute to responsible AI usage and data quality within procurement contexts.

Configure and optimize SAP MM processes, including Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management. Leverage AI copilots for functional specifications, configuration validation, test case creation, and documentation. Support end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to hypercare. Integrate MM with SD, FI, PP, QM, and external supplier systems using standard APIs, IDocs, and middleware. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, process design, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for automated classification, predictive signals, and intelligent summarization of issues. Use LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution time. Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit policies, and material master standards. Collaborate with procurement, finance, production, and integration teams. Contribute reusable templates, checklists, and AI-augmented best practices.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Demonstrate experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies. Familiarity with integration across SD, FI, PP, and QM is essential. Knowledge of IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns is required. Experience using AI copilots, LLM powered documentation tools, and AI assisted testing accelerators is crucial. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows is expected. Understand responsible AI usage, data quality impacts, and AI limitations in procurement. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement and material management. Ability to translate business requirements into logical, scalable SAP MM configurations. Clear communication and collaboration skills are necessary. A continuous learning mindset with comfort adopting AI enabled productivity tools is highly valued.
