Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, specializing in developing cutting-edge software applications and platform services for Automotive High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems. This role leverages the Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture to build scalable, high-performance solutions for Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
Your responsibilities will span the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration, debugging, and testing. You will collaborate closely with system architects and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet stringent automotive quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong C++ skills and experience with Linux/QNX, service-oriented communication, and automotive middleware.
Design, develop, and maintain Adaptive AUTOSAR applications and services on Linux/QNX HPC platforms. Implement and integrate software components using Modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and industry coding standards. Develop Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications utilizing Adaptive AUTOSAR communication frameworks. Debug and resolve software defects in distributed automotive ECU environments. Collaborate with system architects and platform teams on software solution definition and implementation.
Develop and integrate communication services with protocols like SOME/IP, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, DDS, and MQTT. Conduct software integration, validation, and troubleshooting on target automotive platforms. Create and enhance unit, integration, and automated test frameworks for software robustness. Develop CI/CD pipelines for software build and deployment. Participate in architecture and code reviews, and monitor software quality metrics.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required. Candidates should possess strong expertise in Modern C++ development on Linux/QNX platforms, coupled with hands-on experience in Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture and middleware services. A solid understanding of Automotive High-Performance Computing (HPC), Domain Controllers, Zonal Architectures, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is essential.
Proficiency in communication protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP, DDS, and MQTT is necessary. Experience with multi-threaded programming, IPC mechanisms, memory management, and performance optimization is expected. Familiarity with source code management tools like Git and build systems such as CMake is also required. Experience with CI/CD tools, debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind), and automotive software processes like ASPICE is beneficial. A Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant engineering discipline is mandatory.
