As a Custom Software Engineer, you will serve as a final escalation point for complex client issues, driving positive customer experiences through timely and effective interactions. You will communicate customer needs to internal teams, provide technical expertise to junior staff, and manage daily work goals independently.

Act as a liaison during customer program implementations to gain product and technology insights for post-implementation support. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed technical solutions by analyzing issues and applying technical knowledge. Work closely with emerging products and technologies to develop support processes and resolve highly technical issues effectively.

Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in custom software engineering, with a strong foundation in API Management. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, or developing data-driven applications connected to relational databases, XML, and high-volume web services is essential. Expertise in areas such as database technology (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, DB2, Hana), Java, XML, web services, network architecture, and performance issues is highly valued. Familiarity with transmission types (XML, REST, JSON), processing tools like SoapUI and Postman, Data Security & Operations, and Linux is also important.
