Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer specializing in Packaged Application Development. This full-time role focuses on creating innovative SAP MM solutions while leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will be instrumental in designing, coding, and improving system components, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business needs.

This role involves configuring and optimizing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), vendor management, and inventory control. A key aspect of this position is utilizing AI copilots to accelerate various stages of the development lifecycle, from functional specifications and testing to documentation and problem resolution. You will also support end-to-end project delivery, integrate MM with other SAP modules and external systems, and apply AI tools to enhance requirement interpretation, data validation, and troubleshooting.

Further responsibilities include applying AI services to automate tasks like material classification and predictive signaling, and using LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times. You will ensure compliance with procurement governance and operational controls, participate in process optimization discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions. Contributing reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices will also be a part of this role.

We are seeking an engineer with a strong understanding of SAP MM processes, including P2P flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, purchase orders, goods movements, and release strategies is essential. Familiarity with cross-module integration (SD, FI, PP, QM) and knowledge of IDocs, outputs, and common troubleshooting patterns are required.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators is crucial. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is key. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business requirements into SAP MM configurations, clear communication skills, and a continuous learning mindset with comfort in adopting AI-enabled productivity tools.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, with 15 years of full-time education. SAP MM Certification, experience with procurement platforms like Ariba or Fieldglass, and exposure to warehouse or logistics processes are considered advantageous.
