This role focuses on designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting functionalities. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate financial processes, including analysis, configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting. The emphasis is on seamless integration, delivering high-quality solutions, and boosting productivity through AI, without requiring deep AI model development expertise.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots for expedited analysis and documentation. Provide end-to-end support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Ensure smooth integration of SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems using standard integration patterns and APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, conducting impact analyses, and creating comprehensive documentation. Apply pre-built AI services for tasks like anomaly detection, forecasting, and intelligent validation to optimize finance processes. Utilize AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and achieving faster issue resolution.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation & compliance. Demonstrate experience integrating FI with SAP CO, MM, and SD modules. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing utilities. Maintain a solid grasp of AI concepts, understand its limitations, practice responsible AI usage, and apply pre-built AI services effectively (model training, RAG, or agentic development are not required). Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills within finance processes and data, coupled with clear communication abilities for effective collaboration with business and technical teams. Be capable of translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions and possess a continuous learning mindset, comfortable adopting AI-enabled workflows.
